Bea was first able to make a name for herself as a stand-up comedian in 2011, after playing a few small roles that she acted in Irish and British television dramas from 2009. After 2012 she had been being featured in sketch comedy programs, sitcoms, and other similar shows. After she received an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 She became a regular on various panels, and is becoming a mainstay. From 2016 to 2017 she served as a captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant on the sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. She was only the second ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. Bea's mother Helen She is a trainer for jockeys as well as a former professional jockey was in charge of the care of her daughter and Sinead. She and her family loved horses, races and the racing industry. As a young girl, Bea was an assistant tour guide for the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early age that she was not interested in the racing industry as a career and instead loved performing.
