Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director who is famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. He is a versatile actor who is skilled in playing comedy and dramatic characters. In his career, he has performed a range of roles in romantic scenes and appeared in action thrillers. As a teenager, he began to develop an interest in both acting and performing. As young, he began to try stand-up comedy. Even though his comedy endeavors did not succeed however, it served as the basis to his acting career. Not able to achieve success as a comedian he took up a job as a television cameraman in a cable station. The job at the station was where he discovered that the only thing he really wanted was to perform before cameras. Then he was able to get a television role and appeared in several seasons on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. His talent as an actor helped him become a household name on television. He embarked on the film industry with high ambitions and found considerable fame through his comedic characters. His career was further enhanced by the acclaim he received for his performance as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed, he grew as an actor, and started to pursue direction and production. For his role in Birdman (2014), he received numerous awards and nominations.
